Fin begins the two location questions. Bghit introduces the requests. Compare the two phrases ending in 7wayji, “my clothes.”

Practice

Find the phrase for each situation: you need the toilet; you want hot water; you want to wash your hands; you need a place to do laundry. Cover the English and try to recognize them again.

Reading guide

Transliteration key: 3 = ع, 7 = ح, sh = ش, kh = خ, gh = غ. A dot under a consonant marks an emphatic consonant. Latin spellings are reading aids; they do not fully capture pronunciation.
