Greet someone, ask their name, and exchange a few friendly words.

Practice
Choose a greeting for the time of day. Ask someone’s name, answer with your own, then choose the appropriate form of “How are you?” for the person you are addressing.
Reading guide
Transliteration key: 3 = ع, 7 = ح, sh = ش, kh = خ, gh = غ. A dot under a consonant marks an emphatic consonant. Latin spellings are reading aids; they do not fully capture pronunciation.
